The sun was high overhead
and the eagle flew thru the heavens.
The gentle wind blew across the
sloping hills, and moved the tall
grass with it.
Children played in the field beyond,
and shards of their laughter were
whispered in my ear.
I looked around and saw the life all
about me and smiled, this was
truly heaven.
